Anyway, here’s the second installment of the official Nathan and Rachel Simultaneousish Illustration of the Week, or, as it should probably be called, Barefoot Kraken. And yes, I’m sure you noticed that last week was slightly without it… but that’s only because of the impertinent lack of submitted material. I shall expect a better showing from you people this time. <scowls menacingly>

Okay, so Rachel and I are starting a new project. Every week we’ll both post a drawing based on the same topic, which is hopefully provided by you people.
This week’s is moth, obviously, and was suggested by Rosemary. If you have any ideas for next week’s topic, let us know in the comments!

Yes, I know the kid is a bit mutated… that’s either because I wanted to show how terror can distort the senses (especially during times of crisis and/or squeezing), or I couldn’t find my pencil, so did the whole thing in pen without a pre-sketch…

Introducing Captain Waffle: Slatherer of Justice! He’s prepared to either smack you in the face with a crisp breakfast treat or feed one to you, depending on your level of villianosity.

Well, the passion flower vine we planted last month just started blooming, so I figured it should get an honorary entry.
This was a pencil sketch that I scanned in and did some digital coloring using one of Photoshop’s more “artsy” brush types.

That last creature looked so docile and ready to please, it got me wondering what you might be able to use it for…
