Star Wars: Rivals – Skye
Welp, it’s Star Wars Day, so let’s try actually updating this blog for once. Here’s Skye from the Reclamation Society’s fan film, Star Wars: Rivals.
All Groan Up
Last year I did some chapter illustrations for my friend Paul Angone’s new book, , which was just released today.
Following are a few of the drawings, along with their original sketch ideas. (And yes, these are all egg-people.)
Some Warrior Rats
Weasel and Mouse – Sketch
Look—I posted a thing!
Anyway, we shall hopefully be seeing more of these guys at some point.
Another Wizard Rat
If it looks like I actually spent a little more time on this one, that’s because it was a commission. (For Fat Rat Games of Tallahassee.)
Illustrating 27 Nights
Yes, I know—It’s been ages since I’ve posted anything that looks like it took longer than fifteen minutes to scribble into existence, but the above book cover illustration is one of the reasons for that, actually.*
Since this was a fairly complex commission, it required a more thorough process than I usually go in for (plus, the guy actually expected it to look good or something). So thanks to that extra planning work, I get to show the various stages of development. Just like a real artist!
*Also, laziness.
27 Nights is available for Kindle now, with a print version coming soon.
Drunk Rat
Okay, that’s enough of these for a while.
