As of today, this blog is two years old!
In the first post, I said I’d be uploading sketches and stuff that didn’t quite meet the standards of my more official online gallery. However, I find it pleasantly surprising that many of the entries over the last year are better than the work I was displaying in the gallery (which doesn’t even exist at the moment). This is encouraging.
Anyway, here are some interesting stats:
Total number of posts: 207
Total number of comments: 349

Okay, the blog software is updated and happily running on the new server.
Hopefully things should be back to normal at this point.
As of May 13th, this site is one year old, and contains over a hundred drawings.
So far, so good.
Anyway, just because I’m curious, let me know what your favorite picture has been so far.

I know this incessant posting about krakens is annoying Rachel like crazy, but I just had to point out this song I found a few days ago by Jonathan Coulton. And yes, it really is about what you think I’m making you think it’s about. Seriously. So go listen.
That’s right folks. With the redesign comes not only new colors and a new header, but a new name (and domain name – take a look at the URL). And while I, for one, cannot doubt the absolute clarity that a title like Nathan’s Blog brought to this website, I also knew that it was, to put it bluntly, hideously boring.
This is less boring, hopefully.
This is probably the last of this series, as I’m now going to try to focus on a bit of site redesign. If it ends up taking too long, though, I’ll probably put one or two other random things up, just to keep the site from going stale…
(That’s “nautilus of unusal size”, in case you were wondering.)
