I believe the picture with the “giant weird extinct bird” is the giant condor (Ailornis incredibilis), otherwise known as the incredible teratorn. A massive bird, it had an eighteen-foot wingspan with a weight of fifty pounds. However, an even larger bird would be the Argentine giant teratorn (Argentavis magnificens), also known as the Argentine teratorn or the giant teratorn, which boasted a wingspan up to twenty-six feet and a weight of 175 pounds, a length of eleven and one-half feet, a height of six and one-half feet, a wing area of seventy-five square feet, and a wing loading of eleven and one-half kilograms, thus making it the largest flying bird in all aspects.
