No idea what this has to do with anything. It was even drawn before I began the super-secret project which could, metaphorically speaking, contain any number of folk of the fairy breed, and the appropriate tales thereof.

This conceptual pairing of ailment and animal came up randomly during conversation, and could not be passed up.

Back from vacation, so here’s something somewhat appropriate… There were a lot of dragonflies in Minnesota.
Since this week’s Illustration Friday topic is “punchline”, I figured it was a good time to post my latest comic.


This week’s Illustration Friday topic is actually one that I’ve already visited on occasion (baby dragon, baby gryphon), and even this one, while new, is based on a sketch I did almost ten years ago. Rather than just post the sketch, though, I thought it might be nice to take this opportunity to practice getting a somewhat painterly style out of Photoshop. It sort of worked, I guess.


This week’s Illustration Friday topic, worry, describes the appropriate response one should have when approached by a shadowy figure wielding a rubber duck.
