Grin

guy_grinning

Sometimes (er, most of the time) I find myself over-thinking the creation of the final piece. Sure, I’ve been better at letting the sketch phase be fairly free-flowing, but when it comes to the final “inking”, things usually get stressful.

This guy was simply the result of skipping the sketch completely, and attempting to bring that quick carelessness to the final version.

So of course it turned out somewhat creepy. Oh well.

He is slightly creepy, and I think he would feel right at home in Halloween with Jack and the gang.

Yes, but sometimes we all need a little creepy. Take, for example, last night’s Fringe episode. Little boy in a hole for 70 years with no hair and no ability to talk. Very creepy.

    Love the illustration!
